Sykes Point

This sykes point is located in Ambika Nagar, Dandeli, Uttara Kannada district. Tourists come in huge numbers. It is a power station. The center is 1500 feet above sea level and is supplied with electricity from a network built across the river Kali. People from different states come to see this sykes point surrounded by fog. It is about 15 Km away from Dandeli Taluk. The place where the power plant is seen from below is called Nagari. A gate can be seen in the misty weather while passing through the middle of Dandeli forest. This sykes point can be seen behind Susha Dam.
