Pushpagiri Betta

Pushpagiri is 30 Km away from Somwar town. Pushpagiri Wildlife Sanctuary is one of the 21 wildlife sanctuaries in Karnataka. It is the 2nd highest hill in Kodagu and is 1,748 m above sea level. Adjacent to this hill is Shanta Mallikarjuna Temple and after first visiting this temple tourists go to Pushpagiri Hill. On the other side of this hill is Subramanya Temple of Dakshina Kannada and from that side this mountain is called Kumaradhara Parvata. The lines of the Western Ghats can be seen. In this mountain you can see many types of lush green trees, different types of flowers and animals.
