Om Beach Om Beach is located at Gokarna in Kumata Taluk of Uttara Kannada District. Om Beach is called Om Beach because it is shaped like an Om. Gokarna can be reached directly by bus from Mangalore, 238 km from Mangalore. Gokarna can be reached by autorickshaw or cab private buses. This beach has crystal clear water and is surrounded by jungle. At Om Beach there are opportunities for fun like boating, boat ride, dolphin spotting, trekking etc. Best time to visit this beach is from October to March. Tourists can stay overnight in nearby wooden cottages at Om Bej.
