Mandal Patti

Madikeri is about 20 Km away. Mandal Patti is at an altitude of 4000 feet above sea level. Mandal patti’ in Kodava language means high place. Mandal list is also known as ‘Mugila Pete’. Sitting on top of Mandal Patti hill and looking at Cardamom plantation, Western Ghats is a wonderful moment. Mandal has shot Kannada films in the list. Kurunji flower and Neelikurunji flower are mostly found in mandal list. It is a beautiful sight to see these flowers blooming for 12 years on the hills of Mandal Patti and Kote Hill. Mandal list can be reached by steep road from Madikeri to Abbifalls.
