CHARMADI GHAT

There is a 22 Km long nature road on the border of Dakshina Kannada and Chikkamagaluru district. It is part of the Western Ghats range. During rainy season, fog covers the road. Also rain creates streams, creeks and waterfalls. Traveling this road is an exciting time. It consists of 21 turns and 12 S turns. National Highway 73 passes through. June to January is the best time to enjoy nature here.
