Idagunji

Idagunji temple is located in Honnawara in Uttara Kannada district. It is about 14 Km away from Honnava. It is 480 Km away from Bangalore. It is about 171 Km away from Mangalore. Idagunji has a bus system from all directions. At Idagunji there is a temple of Ganesha with Dwibhuja which is known as one of the oldest temples in South India 88 cm. m height 95cm m wide, there is a standing idol of Ganapati. Darshan of Ida Gunji Deva Silver is available from 6 am to 1 pm and from 3 pm to 8.30 pm. Abhishekam time at Idaganji temple is from 6 to 11 am and 7 pm. There is a Dasoda system here and guest houses are available for tourists. Apsara Konda, Ramatheertha, Murudeshwar etc. are many places to visit. Many devotees and tourists visit this temple because Ganapati of Idagunji has 2 teeth and does not have a cobra in his stomach.
