Dubare Elephant Camp

It is 28 Km away from Koda. There is an elephant training center belonging to the forest department on the banks of river Kaveri on Siddhapura and Kushalanagar road. There are a lot of tamed elephants here and the elephants that come from the forest to trouble are tamed. Dubare is a world famous elephant taming camp. Elephants carrying ambari are tamed here during Dussehra in Mysore. Elephant sighting is a wonderful moment for tourists and there is also an opportunity to ride an elephant. The elephants who stay overnight in the forest are brought back to the camp in the morning and evening.
