Somavara pete

Somwar Pete is one of the major taluks of Kodagu, so the name Somwar Pete is held here every Monday. Many attractions can be found in the city on Monday. There are several places in Somwar pete like Pushpagiri Hill and Pushpagiri Forest Rain Malleswar Hill. It is 52 km north of Madikeri, the district headquarters. Mallalli Falls is 25 km from Somwar town. Sakamma’s bungalow is located in Somwar pete and is styled as an old historical building. In the center of Somwar Pete town is the Dargah of Hazrat Malang Pasha, a saint of the Sufi tradition of Islam.
